re-etirate.

through the process of overlapping, layering and transparencies, interlacing qualities become prominent that result from the morphing of the eiffel tower's structural qualities and curvilinear wooden forms. circulation, spatial qualities, light effects, and interconnecting spaces occur, supporting the idea of one being squeezed through time.

pieces of april.

semi-relationships and ambiguity
late nights without accomplishments
warm weather and wind through my hair and toes
sparkling eyes and soft touches
watered down coffee and birthday cake ice cream
sprained wrist and monthly physical visits
parents on different hemispheres and displaced notes
wrapped present and diagramed facial structure

21 days away from my birthday.
21 years old.
21.

timeless love.

it's that time of the year again
the time in which we believe is the most loving day?
did we not have time to show our love everyday?

but besides giving out candy, red roses, and greeting cards
i rather live in denmark where they give out
pressed white flowers.

elegant
timeless
graceful

on a side note
literally.

January 28, 2010

rut.

the days go by without any changes
minor abrupt
that tend to dissipate as time goes by

heavy eyelids, empty stomach
drops of water, and orange juice
mixing variety of meals
while craving buffalo wild wings at green turtle

losing connections and coherence
yet seeking the thin line between transition and entrance
only to fulfill society's expectations

January 20, 2010

start line.

first class of the day at six-pm sharp
revolving around this particular class
     yet, no teacher in sight
nibbling on my half-grown nails
checking my phone frantically
watching fifteen-twenty minutes go by
reading previous class notes on board
      'anti-oedipus', 'capitalism' and 'schizophrenia'
      'kafka' and 'what is philosophy?'
nothing i should care about at the moment
besides wondering why the hell did kafka decide
to turn his main character into a bug!

i should have paid more attention.

or check my email more often to know
class has been moved to another building.

January 18, 2010

January 10, 2010

manic.

a good night's rest and something to calm my mind
soft hair, cotton, and leather boots
steaming cup of black coffee and a slice of bread and butter
growing nails and cold seeping through my windows
moments in which i no longer trust anyone
obscuring the future during sleepless nights
when love has become just another cup of stale coffee
and interests rely on objects.

red. brown. white. purple. black.

January 7, 2010
